the original dazon 250 prototype was a dual a arm front and dual a arm rear single seat buggy. i was a dazon dealer early on and they sent me alot of r&d stuff since i have my own fabrication/machine shop. i had it for 2 months and liked it but it was underpowered in my estimates. they dropped all the suspension pieces and basically stuck the motor in a modded up 150 frame to save money in the end.

edit: it was also very heavy... likely the motor hp output was fine but in a bohemoth weight disadvantaged buggy it seemed slow and sluggish. my .02

We call what you are talking about to much buggy not enough engine.BMS and SUNL with thick overkill metal floorboards and 25 inch tires were dead useless weight, but it more or less boils down to the fact they make one frame but stick a 150 or 250 or a 400cc in the same frame...........my Dazon 250 is compact and small in the driver and passenger areas and a thin floorboard 21 front and 22 inch rear tires so I don't carry around a bunch of BS dead weight thus in turn I have no problem with power. mancoman
